There is only now. The past is just an idea in your mind (it is a memory). The future is an idea too (it is a dream), and a plan is a fantasy. Your present is all that really exists, that is just fine - because the present is where you always are.
All of your accomplishments have been accomplished in your present. All of your epic insights have been in your present. All of your experiences of great pleasure and happiness you've had in your life, were in your present...in your now.
Your mind and body always think it's 'now'; it is a good idea to get used to enjoying your present...now.
